How to choose your Rugby Headgear?

The rugby helmet is a very popular protection accessory for rugby players and rugby women from the amateur level to professionals, from the smallest to the largest.

The rugby headgear is a flexible protection that usually includes openings for the ears as well as for the scalp. The helmet attaches to the front with a velcro strap and behind it with a lacing to adjust the helmet to your head.


Why put a rugby headguard ?

The rugby helmet aims to protect the head from the blows and laceration that can undergo the rugby players. Indeed thanks to the rugby helmet, the ears, the forehead and the scalp are spared, zones very sensitive and often touched. Moreover, it seems that the risk of concussion and head trauma can be reduced by wearing the helmet which cushions part of the shocks.


How to choose it?

Today there are a multitude of models, sizes, rugby helmet colors. The best helmet is the one in which one feels the best, it must be well adjusted but not suffocate us. The foams composing them meet the standards set by the IRB, International Rugby Board.
